Digital project and programme consultancy Proicere has acquired Physical2Digital (P2D), an AI-driven technology and digital implementation consultancy. The expanded business has been rebranded Proicere Digital.
The acquisition increases Proicere’s service to the construction sector, adding P2D’s expertise in generative AI, automation and digital data handling to the company’s established project controls services. The consultancy works with clients on complex, large-scale projects and programmes, including the Sellafield nuclear site.
Proicere was shortlisted at the Digital Construction Awards 2024 for its work with Morgan Sindall to create a new approach to managing emergency escape routes on complex construction sites, such as the Sellafield Product and Residue Store Retreatment Plant.
Proicere Digital’s solutions include AI-driven data analytics, digital transformation strategies, cloud services, and enterprise IT operations.
P2D’s expertise has supported some of the world’s leading companies. For example, it devised the first post-Brexit food product passport system for Marks & Spencer.
Proicere Digital will continue to support its existing clients while expanding into new regions such as the Middle East, Australia and the Americas.
“Our expanded capabilities, thanks to P2D’s digital services, will provide real-time insights and predictive analytics to businesses, ensuring they can anticipate market shifts and meet client and project demands more effectively,” said Karl Dooner, chief executive of Proicere Digital. “We’re excited to bring these innovative solutions to our clients across the construction sector.”
Suresh Sadanandan, formerly chief executive of P2D, has become CTO of Proicere Digital. She said: “With our integrated services, we can offer solutions that simplify complexity and drive operational excellence. This merger of solutions strengthens our ability to help businesses improve their digital capabilities and futureproof their operations.”
