There’s a week left to book your seats at the Digital Construction Awards 2024.
The Awards – digital construction’s Oscars – take place at the Brewery in London on the evening of 2 July.
Those wishing to book must do so by close of play 21 June. A table of 10 at the awards evening covers: a pre-event sparkling wine reception; three-course meal with coffee, petit fours and five bottles of house wine; after-dinner entertainment, and the awards ceremony. A handful of premium tables are also available that, in addition to the standard table, include:
- priority placement in proximity to the stage;
- a bucket of 20 mixed beers; and
- your company logo on the table.
Individual seats can also be purchased.
The Digital Construction Awards are organised by Digital Construction Week, BIMplus, Construction Management and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). Sponsors include Bluebeam, the CIOB, Dassault Systèmes, Mission Room, nima, Procore, Revizto, Women in BIM and Zero.
The Awards attracted 165 entries this year, with 84 being shortlisted. AtkinsRéalis, Hinkley Point C, Sir Robert McAlpine and Laing O’Rourke are among those shortlisted.
Big versus small
But it’s not all about the established major names. The Digital Contractor of the Year category features the likes of McLaren, McLaughlin & Harvey and PCE competing against BAM UK & Ireland. The Best Use of Data on a Project sees construction technology start-up Disperse facing off against Skanska and AtkinsRéalis among others.
Another start-up, Lattice, is shortlisted for its part in the ULEZ expansion signage project (Digital Construction Project of the Year and Digital Innovation in Asset Management), and for Product Innovation of the Year.
There are also two awards focused on individuals: six people are competing for Digital Rising Star of the Year, while the Digital Construction Champion of the Year will also be revealed on the night.
