Interserve Construction has promoted its South East divisional director Mark Buckle to the new role of technical director, reporting to the main board.
Buckle will focus on the development, use and implementation of modern methods of construction (MMC) and design for manufacture (DfMA) across the business.
His role also includes overall responsibility for digital construction, design and Interserve’s sustainability strategy.
Craig Tatton, MD of UK Building at Interserve Construction, said: “I am delighted at Mark’s appointment to the position of technical director, sitting on the senior leadership team. Mark brings with him a wealth of experience in delivering transformation strategies and will help drive our implementation of MMC and DfMA in line with the government’s Construction Playbook.”
Before Interserve, Buckle held senior positions with Mace, Lend Lease and Sir Robert McAlpine.
