Get to grips with the golden thread
25 September at 11am
In association with Atvero
Following the Grenfell Inquiry’s final report and the Construction Leadership Council’s (CLC) golden thread guidance, this webinar will dive into the information management best practice necessary to meet the requirements of the Building Safety Act.
The first two speakers co-drafted the golden thread and co-authored the CLC’s golden thread guidance. Aman Sharma, managing director of Totus Digital, will detail the main points of the guidance; while Neil Yeomans, head of property safety and technology at Orbit Group, will share how Orbit is meeting the needs of the golden thread.
The third speaker, Rob Hoyle of Atvero, will provide an overview of how project information management systems can help maintain the golden thread and uphold the requirements of the Building Safety Act.
Prevent and defend: information management’s role in disputes
26 September at 11am
In association with Ideagen Mail Manager
Information management best practice can help prevent disputes arising or defend them when they arise. In this webinar, HKA Global technical director and IM4Legal member Sarah Keyte will discuss the importance of record keeping and will reveal the common information management errors and their impact on disputes.
In the second half of the webinar, Ideagen Mail Manager senior client manager George Emeny will focus on an often-neglected part of information management: email management. Email is by far the most common project correspondence tool, but poor management can mean project information is lost and time wasted searching emails. Poor email management can contribute to disputes.
The Digital Construction Summit webinars will be recorded and will be available to watch on demand a few hours after live broadcast.
