Digital construction consultancy Acumine has recruited Federico Selmi from ISG and Stuart Bell from Glider. Both take on new positions at the consultancy as it prepares to expand.

Selmi joins Acumine as director of digital transformation, while Bell takes the role of fractional sales director.

Selmi joins from ISG, where he was global director of data products. He has helped large construction organisations like ISG and Multiplex (where he was chief data product officer) navigate complex technological and business changes to improve efficiency and drive competitive advantage. His role focuses on optimising Acumine’s digital transformation offering, streamlining processes and leveraging advanced technologies to enhance client solutions.

He said: “I’m delighted to be joining Acumine and am very much looking forward to working alongside a team of individuals who share a similar passion, are driven by a genuine desire for solving the industry’s data issues and want to deliver meaningful change.”

Insights and data

Bell brings more than 25 years’ experience in marketing, sales and business development, having held senior roles at Deltek, Bentley Systems and most recently Glider. He will lead Acumine’s sales and marketing strategy as it expands its market presence and starts to offer a wider range of data products and tailored solutions to meet clients’ evolving needs.

Bell said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Alistair, Daniel and team, supporting the growth of the Acumine business. The proliferation of project and enterprise software applications, along with emerging technologies like AI, highlights the importance of harvesting and harnessing insights from good-quality, trusted data. Acumine’s established data management, analytics and reporting solutions deliver near-instant insights and rapid return on investment. I can’t wait to get started.”

Acumine director and co-founder Alistair O’Reilly added: “We are thrilled to welcome Federico and Stuart to our team. Their expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow the business and deliver exceptional results for our clients. Federico’s digital transformation leadership experience and Stuart’s sales and marketing acumen will strengthen our capabilities and support our drive to enable construction contractors to build more productively by leveraging the value of data and digital.”
